Speaking of Neurobiology, found a great series of Anatomy/Physiology lectures, which starts off with a fantastic discussion of the brain. I like her teaching style.

Went to Model UN today for a practice crisis committee.

It started with the Korean war starting back up again.

It ended with nukes flying between China, both Koreas, Britain, India, Pakistan, and Brazil (for some reason I don't remember).

Highlights: The Guy representing Japan being kidnapped by best Korea, Pakistan taking his label and making it into "Japanikstan", China being kidnapped by the US, pakistan taking China's label and writing "chinakistan", Cuba bombing Miami the working with the US for the rest of the conference, and a nuclear-powered aircraft carrier detonating as a nuke off the coast of India.

Is that... is that what the Model UN is like? Some sort of psychotic doomsday LARP?

That kicks ass, why didn't I hear about this sooner?

The Crisis Committees are the Psychotic Doomsday LARPs.
Otherwise, it's the debate team meets LARP, because you have to represent your country's interests in whatever the topic is.
