Good morning Tropico!!!

I got Tropico for my birthday today, along with a bamboo which is totally awesome to complement my Drawing skill. Did I mention I draw like a spastic kid having a seizure while on cocaine? Because I totally do. And this thing only makes it worse.

But I LOVE IT. Especially when I accidentally press my hand into it and ruin the entire piece of art.

I really have to stop doing that.

Looking at my work that I produced this semester for my novel-writing course, I find that I wrote perhaps 300-400 pages, many of them double-sided.  Maybe this isn't so hard, after all.


Also oh my god I'm going home in four days.  And I get along quite well now on just 6-8 hours of sleep a night, so I'll actually have time to do stuff other than study math when I go back to school.  And I'm learning Polish, which is one of the more fun languages I've ever worked on.  And I have friends, and penpals, and for the very first time in my entire life, nothing is wrong.  There's no problems I'm trying to solve, nothing I'm trying to get away from.  Just a present I'm enjoying and a future I can't wait for.

Is this what being happy is like?  Damn, it's awesome.

Been wondering that myself.  I'm at the end of the semester, and graduation is practically in the bag.  I've been in an extraordinarily good mood over the past few days, and my short fuse and self-deprecation just kind of wash away.  Heck, even the big bulging Berserker-pack veins on my eyeballs cleared away.  Might be more sleep, might be having less stress than I can remember for a long damn time.  Might be the steroids my podiatrist prescribed for me, but I've never heard of steroids making people calmer.  Maybe I'm wired to be so depressed that it wraps back around to angry, and I needed steroids to get back to normal?

Nah, I choose to believe its the lack of stress.
