Well, that's the first time I've ever done a practical in a maths lesson.  What it proved is that our grasp of basic Newtonian principles is pathetic :/.

So, about 4/5 anime intros follow some permutation of the following formula:

• Scene of nature, with birds, trees, flower blossoms, droplets making ripples in pools, etc.
• Pan up on a main location in the series.
• Main characters start running somewhere. Other characters turn toward the camera with a slight flourish.
• Naked people scroll by, artistically represented or just as eye-candy.
• Random people or scenes establish smaller parts of the setting or cast. They're usually unrelated to anything so far.
• Main character(s) stare(s) wistfully into the distance, trying to show depth or ennui.
• Supporting cast pop up, cheering up character by holding out their hand or being silly.
• Suddenly adventure happens, with flying, charging, fighting, exploring, etc. Rivals may also clash, and there is action everywhere.
• Main characters passes the love interest, or desolate scenery, depending on whether it's primarily a love story or not. Sensitive female character/magical girls often cry here, do magical stuff, or stand in striking scenery. It is pretty, distant, and mysterious.
• Final dramatic shot, recycling one of the above elements.
