Got all my Spanish coursework done in less time than I expected (even though I started later, so I don't have any spare time anyway).  Now I just need to wake up at 7AM tomorrow, write a page or two for a politics paper, go take the Spanish exam, polish off the paper in less than two hours, go to WalMart on the day before Thanksgiving to buy cheesecake supplies, and then my vacation will officially begin!

Then I have to write a 6-8 page paper by Tuesday, on books I've barely opened.  The wrench in the works is that the professor will be grading the papers on what she calls a relative curve: She'll grade all the papers from "best" to "worst", give the "best" paper the percentage grade she thinks it deserves, and then each paper after that gets one point less going down the list.  I gave her a good rant today about what a huge disincentive it is to try very hard, when my grade is effectively dependent on some other random person's work.  While totally true, it also still means I probably don't have to try very hard to get a reasonable grade, and this time it wouldn't matter if I did anyway.  Fuck yeah.
