In the days when Sussman was a novice, Minsky once came to him as he sat hacking at the PDP-6.
“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

Spent the last hour listening to Meat Loaf, and my friend just got home with Rock Band 3. So long to productivity.

That means Rock Band 3 is now out. My next paycheck will be diminished.

I'm having the first Big Mac in my life.  I wonder if I'll like it.

What, how can you call yourself an American without ever tasting the delight of cheap mass-produced fatty food? And the only real redeeming factor of that burger being the sauce which they don't use enough of.

It's a fast food burger.  It's going to taste exactly how you think it will taste, and you will not be surprised.  I always thought they can with too much lettuce myself, but I hate fast food lettuce.

How underwhelming.  However, I found a great site for Duke.  :]

They can with too much lettuce? The whole thing?

Also, I remember my first Big Mac. Enormous, for a  7 year old, messy and not entirely satisfying.

I'm a chicken man, myself. Our version of Burger King does an amazing grilled chicken burger. Like, the first actually delicious fast food burger I've ever tasted.

None of you have truly partaken of fast food if you haven't had a McGangbang.
:C This ruined my day. I freaked the fuck out, like, y'know when you see a weasel freak out, except ten times worse.

My current fortress population is 1, having been decimated by goblins. The last dwarf left is paralyzed from the waist down and constantly throwing tantrums. Should I abandon?

It's not over till it's over, and you have one dwarf left, so no. The FUN must be complete.
