Except for the fact that the original is several times more hilarious.

Hmmm... anyone heard Another Brick in the Wall by Pink Floyd?  No?

Well, turns out it's based on the school I'm going to.

On a related note, yay!  Half term!  Weeks holiday!  WOO!

Another Brick In The Wall Pt. 2 I believe. The entire album is about me a guy named Pink who looses his mind.

I dunno, you guys have survived Thomas the tank engine, golems, zombies, nuclear explosions, laser whales, and being on the same team as ragnarock.  I don't think something as tame as a world ending rain of lava will even slow you guys down.

seeing the guy you're supposed to write "who most inspires you in life?" essays about on TV is always a red letter day.
Unfortunately, my person of great inspiration hasn't been alive for almost 400 years. So, yeah, not gonna see him on tv.

It would be all the more impressive for it, though. :P

The man could make some hellaciously good speeches, I'll tell you. Not that I'd understand them, as I lack the requisite language knowledge.

Tokugawa Ieyasu, for those who were curious.

In the days when Sussman was a novice, Minsky once came to him as he sat hacking at the PDP-6.
“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

Was watching season 2 of Red vs Blue today.

Tucker: "Oh my god, I can't believe Caboose is smart enough to drive this thing and I'm not! Shiela, how the fuck do I slow you down?!"
Shiela: "Retard the throttle."
Tucker: "What throttle? This throttle?"
Shiela: "Retard the controller."
Tucker: "You mean this thing? What are you talking about?! I'm so confused!"
Shiela: "The controller, retard."
Tucker: "Hey, that's kind of insulting."
Shiela: "Retard. Retard. Retard."
Tucker: "Oh come on. Now you're just being mean."
Shiela: "Retard. Retard. Retard..."

Shiela is awesome.
