Doesn't that belong in the sad thread?

Once tried to conquer Earth, and succeeded! Too bad it got really, really boring, really, really fast.

One day, we shall all look back on this, and laugh. Sorry about the face, by the way, and the legs, and the eyes, and the arms. In fact, sorry 'bout the whole body.

We aren't allowed to be happy about an inability to read? I know I read far too much and anything which cuts down on the reading is good.

Mendelssohn's "Hebrides" overture just came on the radio.  That was a pleasant surprise.  :D

It took me the longest time to find out Mabinogi was actually a game and not just a pornsite or a hentai studio or something that I kept seeing mention of.  And even when I saw the game, I thought, "Huh, they made an MMO out of that pornsite thing?  I bet it sucks."

Is it actually any good?
Awkward controls, entirely too many skills, and I can't play epic lute solos without screwing up.  I quit after about 5 hours.

Also, no clear difficulty curve.

In bio lab I convinced the rest of the class that the experiment we were doing was inherently flawed, so the professor allowed my group to do a separate experiment. By the time the other groups were encountering the flaws in their final trials(That I predicted) my group was halfway done.

In the end we were able to all get somewhat accurate results. The others just needed to do two trials instead of five.
 I rock.

I'm happy that things are good, and that the future isn't as bleak as originally imagined.

I should appreciate the good times while they're still around though, because things can always turn very bad very quickly, while you have to build up for a long time to get anything even remotely close to happiness, so I'll have to protect what I have with unerring vigilance.

My overall opinion, so, is that my situation is very good, but life is still very bad.

Result: happiness, right now.

I'm happy that I've got a pile of great books to read now.  Not that I didn't before, but while these new books are as weighty as the old ones I still need to read, they're much more entertaining.

Hopefully I'll get back into the swing of things and actually read these books I've been piling up.  I don't think I've actually finished reading a book in years, which is just sad.

Also, I found a copy of Arkham Asylum: A Serious House on Serious Earth.  Joy.

I just started looking up guitars on eBay, and I found several decent Fenders for under 100 USD.

It was just an experiment on blood flow through veins, arteries and capillaries. The rest of the class wanted to measure how much of a solution flowed though a tube within twenty seconds, restricting themselves to 500ml of solution to prevent pressure from being a factor, where I suggested just time how long it takes for 500ml of the solution to empty. Ultimately on their third test using the largest tube size they ran out of the solution at ten seconds.

Oh hey, another HellMOO player from Bay 12. If you'd ever like some help or somebody to chill with, send a message to Julian. I'm not much of a grinder, so I'm rarely busy.

You play? I haven't played in ages. I wonder if my apartment is still there. I had plenty of money, certainly enough to cover rent for months.
Ye might want to check on that, I heard that supposedly they have a mechanic that even with enough money after a certain amount of time you get booted from the apartment anyway.

In happier news that auto-tune thing was funny, I'll have to watch more of it on the marrow.

I logged in yesterday and my apartment is still there. I still don't have armor, which reminded me why I stopped playing in the first place.

My corp kicked me out long ago, I don't even know if they are still around since I can't remember a lot of the commands.
