I'm back from my week or so of not being on the forums. There's so much I could put into this thread, so I'll probably sprinkle some of the anecdotes here and there.

I got fired for having a migraine, but a different manager, not knowing I got fired from being sick, asked if I want to renew my assignment a few days later, and pardoned my termination. I'm now only going to accept first shift work, as switching from first to third has been chewing me up since February.

One day at work I microwaved my delicious turkey and cheese sandwich and took a bite of it, only to realize it wasn't my turkey sandwich! Someone else brought a turkey and cheese sandwich with the same bread, grocery bag, and sandwich bag. I felt horrible at first, then realized there was nothing I could do about it, and on second break I got to eat mine as an extra snack.

"Also, our two most common beverages are water and alcohol. They are also our two most used industrial solvents."

Now that I have disposable income again, I need to choose between snowboarding, piano lessons, or breakdancing lessons.

More stuff later...

What the hell. Leave your own sandwich for the other dude whose sandwich you stole. There was very clearly something you could do.

A very good decision by Other Manager, as I seem to recall that terminating an employee for medical issues is very illegal, although it depends on where you live.

You must now attempt to beat Ultimate Crab Battle by the same author. Together, they can be a winner.

Dammit, it's happening again.

Actually, I was wrong in calling them cannibals.  They eat humans, but aren't humans.  So I guess that makes them... uh... anyone from the PETA thread want to offer a suggestion?
