I know nothing about Nihilism, personally. The same with the theory behind "I hate humans" but if someone wants to suck all enjoyment out of life, or at least a large part, and not see humanity and the world for the awesome that it is, not experience it for the awesome that it is, they're shooting themselves in the foot and it's really sad.

Not Nihilism, the "I hate humans" crowd. I dunno what Nihilism is about.

Here is the most common (or seem to be for me) view of nihilism.

Existential nihilism is the belief that life has no intrinsic meaning or value. It can stem from scientific analysis showing that only the physical laws contributed to our existence. With respect to the universe, a single human or even the entire human species is insignificant, without purpose and is not likely to change in the totality of existence.

Moral nihilism is next on my list of stupid shit.
