Suddenly, the ceiling broke, and something heavy fell on top of Dr. Mann.

"This place is a lawsuit waiting to happen," said Agent Yoric, sitting up. "Oh, hey, it's Hatbot."

"My… lungs…" Dr. Mann said weakly, trying to breathe.

"Oh, sorry," said Yoric. He stood up and helped Dr. Mann to his feet. "Hey, sorry about the ceiling. They don't make 'em like they used to."

Also,

"When did you know there was something wrong?" asked the psychologist.

"When it tried to kill me again the next night. That's when I began to detect a pattern," said Dr. Mann.

WHY DID YOU HAVE ME KICK THEM WTF I DID NOT WANT TO BE SHOT AT.
I dunno, you guys have survived Thomas the tank engine, golems, zombies, nuclear explosions, laser whales, and being on the same team as ragnarock.  I don't think something as tame as a world ending rain of lava will even slow you guys down.

Has anyone ever thought of making up a completely bogus situation for life advice, just to see how far they'll run with it?
It has been done more often than there have been actual threads.

As much as I love the old-fashioned style, nothing gets me going like a sleek modern keyboard.  She's got all the extra buttons, although she's a little complicated, I'm not sure how everything on here works and sometimes I worry I'm not satisfying her.

Does she make a good noise when you run your keys over her? I find a lot of modern keyboards just sort of accept pressure and don't make any noise, just looking at you with a blank stare whenever you type. It's sort of disconcerting. And then I mistype because the keys don't have deep grooves between them and she continues to just stay there like some object.

I told you guys about my experience with the tilde key on my laptop, when I tried treating it like it was alive to improve its morale.

It is alive, I'm talking to it right now.

Also, fat keyboards are awesome.

I finally saved up enough to get that NOS Parker 21 Super that I wanted. I've never tried any hooded nibs, so this'll be a first. Probably going to order it on Saturday, or something.

If only men could squee.

We squee just fine. Usually just in private, though.

So, I did weightlifting class today. Instead of doing bar dips and pullups and whatnot, I was allowed to do Muay Thai drills with a 12lb medicine ball, (I have a bad back, so back exercises are not recommended for me.) Holy crap I've not sweat that much in a long time. I'm totally doing those every class from now on.

If only gang fights were like this.

I've always been fond of acrobatic dance moves... and turning them into improvisational crosswalk performances makes it even better. To top it all off, this is part of a project that aims to counter the images of gang violence, by letting kids and youths direct multimedia, and bringing them together to do public performances and such.

Hehe... and I really loved when the kid in the hooded jacket did a pirouette at 2:12, after dancing across the median... just the look on his face, and that of the other guys... it gave me hope, and made me smile.
