While I was gone for the weekend my birthday happened.

My anxiety's been causing sleep issues the past four or five days.

I just slept twelve hours straight. I was too exhausted not to. I only feel a little sleepy now rather than exhausted.

Finished up my assignment with literally, literally, less than half a minute left.

Tell you what, it was a bit of an adrenaline rush.

Yeah, I know. Problem is I have a combination of probable-ADHD and a very bad avoidance response to things that stress me out.

Combine the two and you get this.

Also it took a lot longer than expected because this assignment is a wonderfully unfamiliar bit of work. Never done this sort of assignment before, so I'm learning a new skillset as I do it which was making it take a lot longer than usual.

Bet it won't last long.

I am pretty sure as well. Isreal has never respected such agreements.

Hey guys, remember that the Israel thread got locked for a reason?

While we're not sat here arguing, it's better that the topic stops before people start getting argumentative and take out another thread.

Discussing Israel and other world events should still be fine, although the happy thread here might indeed not be the best place.
The latest round of bans has hopefully weeded out those folks that couldn't resist getting into personal attacks and endlessly repeating arguments.

We are hemorrhaging post count and aren't getting new long term users at replacement levels, though...

Sure, this just a silly forum about a silly dwarf game, but I would rather have this place go on than to dissappear, especially since the internet at large has degenerated into A.I nonsense that keeps encompassing larger and larger sections of it every passing month.

Not excusing blatant drama and bigotry. But just... don't eat the hammer, folks. We need you here.

I'll be moving out tomorrow for the first time (I mean, not counting college dorm - to live somewhere and have a job.)

Home from the business trip.  Busy, but fruitful. Nothing like being back home, though!
