The eighteenth chapter of my book is released! The crew explores the Decl-tjub station, which is revealed to be a dark echo of FE-01. They get an up-close view of the misery inside it... prompting a new sideplot. Also, more light is shined on the economics of the setting.

So uh, 3 months sober (plus 5 days)
I thought this month was going to be the hardest (holiday stresses), and I struggled a little at the beginning, but actually I've barely thought about it the past two weeks.  It keeps getting easier, I guess.  I've gone from thinking "I would be letting these various people down" to "...Why would I do that?"

Might be that I've been congested and waking up feeling hungover *anyway*, and I'd rather not compound that XD  I'm doing my best to hydrate.  Also I think I think cleaning out my air vents helped.
Dad's wife (she's been in my life for, what, 15 years?  She's great) has always been somewhat accepting of my stuff   Today she introduced me to someone as dad's daughter.  Which, I am.  She also called me "she" in front of him, and we just kept going when he tried to make a thing about it.

It was a big day for other reasons but this was a lovely surprise towards the end.  I should write her a proper note of appreciation because it was really, really nice.  Particularly after I tried really hard yesterday and dad... pretended to debate me about me.

OH and my baking has being going nicely!  I'm excited to make a loaf with olives tomorrow!  The loaf was a big hit yesterday, and even I was surprised by how well it tasted!  The crust also browned really nicely and had the right texture, eee!
