Oh no, I don't get hangovers outside of feeling absolutely starving and groggy, no proper headaches or suffering beyond that.

Anyways, had a sleep, woke up about 3 hours later (ie around about now), still drunk/tipsy but infinitely better than before I had the sleep.

I need to pick up my rum and halloween stuff from my friend's place tomorrow/today. Might see if they want to head out and recover together at a cafe or something, God knows I could do with that. Maybe they will too.

So envied that you can have a nice day during the Halloween festival, according to the official announcement about the holidays,we Chinese would not get a holiday in this year’s Chinese New Year’s Eve.

New Year's Eve is not within the scope of legal holidays in China, which means that if employees want to take a leave, it depends on the willingness of the employer. In previous years, the government notified that New Year's Eve should be taken off, but this year's New Year's Eve is not included in the  announcement…

The ninth chapter of my hard sci-fi space opera is released! In the chapter, the little subplot started a few chapters back reaches its conclusion, and the readers see the first properly alien civilization. Still, faint hints of something sinister are abound...
