I'm transitioning (I know I keep going on about it but AAAAAAAAAA), I'm prepping to finish off university, I'm planning to do my Jitsu grading next opportunity.

The future's brighter than my bald, shiny head.

Can I have your cocoon ahen you're done?

Why don't we just turn all the mass in our solar system into a giant bowl with living space on the inner surface facing the sun and funnel the sun's coronal emissions and solar wind through a hole at the base of said bowl, creating a jet that slowly over millions of years accelerates the sun and ark ship towards our enigmatic destination, so we can bring our entire civilization and biosphere along.

Or we can encase the earth in all the material from all the rocky bodies of our solar system, creating hundreds of layers of living space of all sorts through tunnels and chambers embedded in the "shell" all powered by the earth's mantle (and supplementary fusion reactors) and turn that into a ship to carry us and hundreds of billions of our descendents where ever we please
Not gravitationally stable.

Anyways, I want immortality so I can see if humanity wipes itself out before reaching the stars or not.

Yeah, I took it from two different science fiction books. Obviously the bowl of heaven is impossible given physics as we know it.

Anyway, I would want immortality to catch up on every opportunity and experience I've missed and will continue to miss. I feel like it will take me centuries to catch up to just living a normal life

I'm just waiting for the part where we fuck up so bad we knock the Earth into the sun, it'll be really exciting right until we burn up and die.

$90 away from meeting my mid-term goal for the year.

It's been a rough ride, but I'm coming out ahead

Taste is a wonderful thing.
It is marvellous how something that smells like my feet and looks and tastes like well-fermented vomit can still be so delicious as a whole.
All hail the UK for creating Blue Stilton cheese.

I went to school near the place that house the formerly oldest cheese in Sweden. It's just one year from being a hundred years old.

I've smellt the formerly oldest cheese in Sweden.

Spoiler: It looks like this (click to show/hide)

(The reason it's the formerly oldest cheese in Sweden is that they found a box with cheese in it when exploring a Swedish ship that sunk in 1676, so that is now the oldest cheese in Sweden. But I have not smelt that.)

Dwarf Fortress Classic is out and that makes me happy. Of course, no GNU/Linux release means I'm still playing the waiting game.

I have heard in the past that the worst the cheese smells the better the taste, but I'm not brave enough to eat something that smells terrible no matter what people tell me.

I think it was the Gastropod podcast that had an episode claiming the substance causing the smell of vomit and that of the parmesan cheese is the exact same chemical.

And a lot of stinky cheeses, like camembert, use the same bacteria that thrives between our toes to acquire their smell and taste.

Also, vomit brewing should be added to DF
