Went on a work trip.

Came back with a tin full of THC gummies as a gift from the office manager I met....and her phone #.

Life is a trip, que no?

Judging by the stats, the forums have had a small breath of life.

All I hope is that it's both permanent and doesn't ruin the general culture.

Hey, we didn't make thirteen thousand pages of happy thread content off of absolutely no forum character, yah?

Wow, from the office manager? I could get behind that kind of work environment. The trip comes roughly sixty to ninety minutes after you ingest one, though.

Congratulations, perhaps. Gonna follow up on the digits?

I found out I got $30 in stock dividends a week ago*.  It's mildly amusing.  I'm in the "evil shareholder class!"

*This means it's not in a mutual fund or something. This was actual "cash" dividend.

Thanks! We've been texting for the last week solid and have opened up to each other a lot. She's about 3 hours away which is far but not too far? Things are moving kind of fast, which is weird because we haven't yet spoken on the phone since I was there. There's extenuating circumstances for that but still, it's a bit odd to me.

Let's just say I'm cautiously optimistic. I haven't dated in a very long time so I'm giddy. But also old enough to be cautious. Can't wait to find out!

Not my first rodeo. I ate one at the hotel then had another about 45 minutes later. I generally don't bring any party favors with me on work trips, usually because I'm flying, usually because I'm there to work and not bum around. So it was nice to have a little nightcap watching movies on hotel HBO. Definitely had less fun work trips for sure. This rates as one of the highest ;)

I've been baking bread lately. They come in mixes so I guess I'm not making genuine home-made bread, but it's delicious so who cares? It makes me happy to bake and subsequently eat bread I made in my own oven.

The thing with these mixes is that they call for beer (or carbonated water, but it isn't as good that way) as the sole liquid components. The alcohol cooks off during the baking process so there's no risk of getting drunk off of the end product, but the bubbles and flavor add an extra something to the loaves. So far I've made a garlic cheese bread, a wheat bread, and an olive & herb focaccia.

Today I am singing the Happy Happy Joy Joy song.
Why? The Ukrainian army managed to bomb a hotel in Luhansk which served as a headquarters for the Wagner mercenaries.
According to the governor of Luhansk, many, many Wagner mercenaries were killed in the bombing.

SUPER! The more dead Wagners the merrier. I drank a few beers to joyfully celebrate their deaths. Hurray! Let many more of those nazi fucktards be killed!

How many classic opera compositors have to die for you to be happy Martinuzz?

Fortunati we Gnocchi a Flackton. Chopin all those Conti's we Haydn Capuzzis off. It's de la Guerre time.
