I remember payraises fondly (who would not?). Congratulations, if anyone deserve one, is you my good friend!

I'm curious as to how a tank would evolve. Would it climb out of the primordial ooze wiggling it's track-nubs, feeding on smaller jeeps before crawling onto the shore having evolved proper treds?

Spider catches frog; spider realises frog is toxic; spider cuts frog out of its web. I've seen this a lot before with orb weaver spiders and leafs or wasps, where they just cut the offending debris or angry murder missile free from their web. Kinda intrigued how the spider knew the frog was toxic, I guess they must have their own sense of taste

Too many bees does hurt though.

Over here, there are new laws being made against keeping bees near nature areas. Our European honeybees are so popular amongst both hobbyists and professional imkers, they are outcompeting already threatened local solitary bee and other insect species due to their sheer numbers.

According to all known zoning laws, there is no way a Vector should be able to keep bees. The Vector, of course, keeps bees anyway, because she got permission.

Keeping bees in a residential area is fiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiine

(So long as you prevent swarming and are prepared to hunt those motherbuzzers through your neigbours' gardens in the event you fail)

Jokes aside, I am very happy for you V. How thought out is the project? I would like to hear all about how you are going to keep them!

Also, are you going to name them? I named my homemade bee(/insect) hotel "Bihålan", which I can't translate without ruining the joke but "By" means village, "håla" means hole, and "byhåla" mean "a real dumpy of a place" and obviously "bi" means bee and I am very proud of that joke and I nominate it for the name of your hive too. Beeata is a great name for your queen by the way
