Interesting, very similar you say, so is it or or is it not the mighty snipping tool that can paste straight away... I'll have to  check once I get out this terrifcally efficient camp.

You have to go through the notifications bar if you want to save it, but it clips directly to the clipboard.

Personally, I prefer using Print Screen + Paint.NET. It's not faster by any means, but it lets me do pixel-perfect cropping, which I'm a massive sucker for.

None of this is negotiable and dissenters will be persecuted and put into a reeducation camp for redundant clicking. Repeated offenders will loose their dark theme priviledges.

Unrelated- Greenshot's pretty good if you need to take screenshots in more ways than by snip, monitor, or application, or don't trust snipping tool or something. But yeah, my desktop's a right mess. Photos, shortcuts, discarded mod projects, notes to myself, job application questions...

I usually use alt-printscreen to only get the specific window I'm looking at, but always drop it in Paint to look over.  There are some translucency effects in Win7 I never bothered to get rid of, not to mention notifications or whatever.  Or just to crop out the actually important part, brevity is the soul of wit and all that!  Particularly regarding screen real-estate.  Not in text, though, text is a lot more funny when it goes on and on and on

Discord light mode is great if you don't perpetually ruin your eyes by having your computer be the only source of light in an otherwise completely dark room.

Several, maybe? Forget the exact levels, but it's actually fairly difficult to damage your eyesight with low light levels, apparently.

It was an issue with dim candlelight or something, but less so with other stuff. Hell, unless you're making them yourself, the candles just being made to modern-ish spec might be enough to make the difference. Folks have sunk some effort into researching the issue, in any case.

It hurts less. Much less. Whitespace is the internet devil, darkling throws the devil out, mostly.

I think a candle is something like 12.5 lumens? A lightbulb is something like 60 lumens? I don't know how much you actually need to prevent eyestrain (or how much starts being worse), but it seems do-able. If they're in the glass things that hold the wax so they burn more efficiently and don't get wax everywhere, they'll provide a bit less, but still.

We had another round of snow and the sun is getting really bright in april, the drive this morning was kind of nightmarish, I struggled to keep my eyes open, I'll take square eyes over snowblindness any day .

I found some decent (and inexpensive) polarized sunglasses in the fishing area of a local store that help nicely with glare. Should work for snowblindness as well.

Profile > Modify Profile > Look and Layout > Current Theme. There's a little "(change)" link that'll let you switch themes, and it's Darkling you want for dark theme. Only ~2800 people use Darkling, strangely enough.
