All I know about my family is that it's nearly non existent now. Me and my sisters are pretty much the only ones left.

Started classes today. My books include "Beginning Ubuntu Linux", and "Windows 7, The Missing Manual". The page count between them is over 1500. Those are for one class. On top of that, I've got "Basic Technical Mathematics," which is over 600 pages. Good thing I'm in weightlifting, too.

That's pretty cool. So they teach you how an OS is built and whatnot? With all the kernel-y stuff?

Nope. From the books, it looks like a very basic "How to use computarz" course. *sigh* At least it'll be easy.

You learn that in college, and you need it to learn to get into a coding course? Sounds kind of silly to me.

I think it's just so they can put on paper that you know what a computer is. As odd as that sounds.

 My ancestry is Portuguese, but I'm not really sure of anything significant with the name other than nationality. Bastardized American version of one anyway.

 And a dude just presented Final Fantasy titles as good graphic design in class. And the professor had beaten all the examples he listed. I'm not sure what to think of this.

That final fantasy is a prolific series? I'm pretty sure most of us here have beaten a few each.

e, Final Fantasy is one of the less amazing games in terms of graphics (I assume you're talking about the snes/gba games), he should of shown something like Chrono Trigger, Star Ocean, or Super Metroid.
