Alright, I've waited for this moment for a whole year now. It's now 2021 anywhere on Earth.

I collected data on Bay12 (the forum) server crashes in 2019, and I had 8 crashes on record. In 2020, that number's dropped... to zero. I have not seen a single instance of anyone complaining that Bay12 was down in 2020. I have not personally witnessed any crashes. There was the odd Maintenance Mode, but never a true crash that rendered the server completely unresponsive. If there were crashes, they were very short disruptions, nothing of the sort back in 2019.

Congrats, whoever runs the server! It was way more reliable in 2020 than it was in 2019! People usually complain when things go wrong (which is within y'all's rights to do so, and you should; it helps me collect good data on this stuff), so I'm here to celebrate that everything's gone right last year. Hats off, whoever you are.

My father got out of the hospital, just in time for New Year's. It's a lot of weight off of all our shoulders after the past few weeks.
