See, if they do surgery, it will probably impact my ability to walk. I mean, it's something that I've considered, but martial arts is my life, and I'm not willing to give that up because I feel like I'm on fire all the time. *shrug* Also, incontinence does not sound fun.

Essentially speaking, I walk around with a broken back.

And you still teach martial arts?  Damn, you're amazing.

I'm not amazing. I'm just stubborn and kind of stupid to go full bore at all times.

I've always been in pain. Always. There's always been times where my legs will go numb and my joints grind and everything gets overwhelming...but it's kind of like being color blind, I guess. It's not something you have to adjust to, it's just the way things are.

Medical science is moving up at an astounding rate, so don't lose hope that an effective treatment for your condition could arrive within your lifetime.

GREAT GREAT GREAT NEWS EVERYONE!

I just finished my Fire Emblem 4 LP! This is fantastic!

I hereby decree that everyone is obligated to read it:

This is the first time I ever completed something so large, something requiring so much work and taking so long! I'm so happy!

This is a rare enough thing that I'm very happy for you.

I certainly don't know what it's like.
