Every time I read the computer problems thread, or anything that touches on computer problems, I'm really happy I bought a copy of Windows 7 so I don't have to deal with 10.

Somebody will have to create a reasonable replacement within the next few years, but so far nothing is even close to usable.

IDK. I've had Windows 10 for a while, zero problems. It's also pretty nice how minimal you can make the whole interface. It's definitely the most customizable Windows ever.

it's impossible to turn off auto updates. That alone should be legal argument enough to prove provocation when charged with punching bill gates in the face.

The data collection should be enough to prove self defense.

The last Windows XP installation I ever had crashed, froze, bluescreen'd, and succumbed to viruses more than all versions of Windows in the entire time since. Good riddance.

I tried that when someone suggested it a while back.
Didn't work for me. I miss XP. And the other one that was decent.

As to how to do metered, you just hit the little wi-fi button on the taskbar, click your preferred wi-fi, hit properties and it should be an option, also: Fun fact, you can still get windows antivirus updates
