It's most likely a "back" referring to the spat between Disney (who owns the MCU) and Sony (who owns Spiderman) when they couldn't come to a conclusion over royalties and ended their working agreement.

I think Marvel did this on purpose, there's the FOX MCU, Sony Marvel Universe and Disney MCU. Marvel were all fight, my lovelies, fight, muahahaha!, at least until they were bought by Disney.

Reading a good book. Ask the Dust, by John Fante.
I'd never heard of the dude or his book before picking this up at an op-shop and I have no idea why - this oughtta be up there with the celebrated classics of its era.

What is it about?

Some neurotic, spiteful, self-obsessed little twerp trying to make it as a writer (not to mention pay the rent) in 1930s Los Angeles. 

Not the most likable of protagonists at first glance, but after some consideration I think most of his bad qualities are things most people, including myself, can relate to on some level.
Also, the setting is wonderful. I was not alive in the thirties and as such was unable to visit the LA of the time, but this book is probably the next best thing to being there oneself.
