Eh, nah. Wasn't any bite-claw going on, just crawl-hang. It's a pretty young kitten, not even weaned, so no hunty stuff quite yet. They're just barely in the move around phase.

I dunno.  When booboo (my toy sized calico kitty) was a kitten, it was in the heat of summer, and her mom stopped producing milk before she was weaned, so the mother abandoned the litter.

Little shit had never been handled by people, but she screamed her little kitten lungs out and climbed up my legs begging for something to eat.  She's like a 12 year old cat now, but I still remember that very clearly.

hi y'all! posting here because I figure I owe at least some people to not just suddenly disappear. I know I went quiet for good while a time but now I'll  almost surely permanently be leaving Bay12, and my account might be gone.

reason this is in the happy thread is this isn't a particularly bad thing (also just to get some more people gotta be honest). lots of things have happened since then, for better or worst. I've changed a lot, definitely for the better. feel like it's definitely time for me to let go of a bunch of things that happened in the past. I just happen to feel like I don't want my teenage years, and uh, the person I was, recorded on the internet forever. she was definitely shaped by her environment, and I apologize for some of the more major dumbass moves I did back then.

I finally got Baba is You on sale, a game I've been salivating over when I first saw it, and now I've got it. It's really fun and is exactly what I wanted. Lots of cute, mindfucky puzzles that test your lateral thinking muscles.

I recently started using my cordless earphones more often.

Today I had the fresh experience of using the toilet to the soundtrack of dramatic Final Fantasy XIV combat music.

Started on my SSRIs, feeling more relaxed right now than I have for a few days (I know it's not the SSRIs given they take time to work), fixed the bow tie situation.

I'm also knackered because it turns out that being continually anxious about things tires you out, but hopefully that'll just lead me to sleep earlier, and I need to be up tomorrow so it should help.

... well, hope that works out for you. Most of the time going to sleep earlier due to anxiety exhaustion just seems to make you more tired the next day and/or interrupt your sleep (a few times) over the night. So, uh. Good luck

They have traditional fey down pat in this game. You have an even chance between harmless playtime or a fate worse than death. The theme song is a vaguely disturbing feel between ridiculously sugar-sweet and vaguely threatening in-game-context.
