Just stayed up late getting my first good pvp gaming in years.

I used to play lots of games with pvp elements but I fell too far behind the tech curve to keep up a while ago, my laptop can't handle most games and my console is pretty ancient and all my friends have moved on to other systems. So I've not been doing much other than fighting the AI in games for a while, which is a shame because I used to enjoy the less predictable aspects of pvp.

Buuut my brother has lent me his playstation for a bit since he's got a new gaming laptop, so I've been cracking away at Dark Souls 3 and decided to try out the pvp earlier tonight. I've not felt that glorious rush of elation and frustration in so long, it's kind of like sinking into a warm bath. I got ganked, lost duels, won by dumb luck, got rewards for arriving in a world just as the host was killed, repeatedly invaded some people and generally had a good time. 

Lost far more than I won, but those wins tasted sweet.

Reminder that timelapses always make the artist seem far more flashy than usual. Not that the art isn't gorgeous and the artist isn't great! It's just that timelapses make it look like they're effortlessly doing everything perfectly first try, really fast. The artist doesn't say how long it took them, but it's usually hours and IMO the dedication is as impressive as the skill.

It's true they are a performance. There are also usually a few cuts/edits.

They are still awesome and this person is talented AF.

Eh, you could pretty clearly see something like that in the linked video. Just keep an eye on the pencils on the left. Bloody things kept repositioning themselves without outside assistance.

Yeah I mean, making something like that probable took hours and hours. Not like they are going to do the whole thing in one go, I'm sure.
