Came this close to getting perfect on the expert bassline for You Oughta Know in Rock Band :\ I was doing perfectly, but my finger slipped for a second when moving the guitar to activate my star power and got 99% with one wrong note. Oh man. Still a wicked score, cuz that's a tough as balls bassline, but nailing that would have been like a weekend on a Tuesday.

My friends always screw that song up so hard that we wind up failing. Of course, this is because I despise Alanis Morisette, so I sing the song as Cartman. Last time we played, our bassist went into an asthma attack from laughing so hard because he'd never heard me do it.

One of my friends always sings Radiohead's "Creep" as Kermit the Frog. Thankfully it's a slow song so laughter doesn't throw off my guitarwork too much.

I like a small handful of Alanis songs, but not very many (especially relative to how many she's written). That bassline is pretty schweet, though. Haven't seen how tough the other parts are but I think it was fairly high up the challenge rating scheme thing.

Oh, and our de facto singer always does Any Way You Want It as a newscaster to try and humourously defeat the energy of the song. Good times.

Also, I actually like "Any Way You Want It", so I go into what my music major friend (our other singer) calls "Diva Mode". It's funny that she calls it that, because every time she activates Star Power, I yell, "Diva Mode!" and then she throws the mic at me. ^_^
