Successfully bathed the cat and only ONE person got a scratch, and it wasn't me who was holding her (although my pants are now soaked)

Poor kitten is cleaning herself off with her tongue now like we cleaned her wrong. At least she doesn't smell like poop anymore

I might be in those shoes next year, hopefully. In the past... couple of months (I think) I've finally gotten around to seeing an actual doctor about my problems. I was a bundle of nerves going into this experience, but they defied all my expectations and were super helpful.
Like you, I mostly just want something to "turn the anxiety knob down a little". And maybe numb the general feelings of shittiness, though I'm still not sure how much of that is just a product of anxiety anyway... also apparently there can be significant correlation between OCD and anxiety issues? Interesting, I'd never really thought of my OCD as a big problem.
