NEVER, I have pretty saws with inexpensive blades that cut well enough because I refiled the teeth and polished the plates, I can get my own preference of spring steel alloy, better jigs for filing teeth, expand my experiments of using sandpaper to polish the actual tooth facets, counterbores for drilling bolt holes, proper square-section saw bolts, thicker blocks of wood stock to start with before shaping, custom handle maker rasps and drills and chisels for the actual refining, more varieties of preparations to use when finishing said handles... and then I should probably try to sell some of the damn things so I can buy more materials and make new ones, AHA HA HA HAHA HA!
