Asked primarily for Steam gift cards for Christmas.  Got $120 to spend.  The holiday sale was good to me.  I finally have a decent selection of stuff to do in VR!  I bought the headset back in like April, and could seriously only afford to buy a couple games for it until now.  I pretty much only played Audioshield and Space Pirate Trainer and dicked around with some free tech demo type stuff here and there for the last 7-8 months, and it was starting to get kind of depressing.  Now I just need time!

That, or luck, though martinuzz was deliberately trying to avoid the caverns. Depending on the settings, it can be possible to avoid the caverns and hit the magma sea by sheer luck without deliberately trying to.

Caught my first 3 three shiny pokemon today (not including the guaranteed red gyarados way back in Pokemon Gold.) Hippodon, drapion, and nuzzleaf.
It's nice how easy it is to get them with ultra warp ride, although the selection of pokemon is a bit limited. (I guess to prevent the devaluing of shinies in general.)

Yay. I shall have night rest again.
Three weeks ago the youth care organisation renting the house next to me moved in a new client.
New girl thinks it's a great idea to invite her younger sisters, and a dozen of elder men to get high on nitrous oxide and get boozed.

Past three weeks I've been kept awake unti 9am by loud partying and elder men fucking minor girls nextdoor. Thin walls. I hear it all.
Finally, after 3 weeks of reporting it to their care workers, and police, they are now kicking the girl out of the house, today.

Just took on a 5v6 match in Overwatch as my first competitive placement match.

We took down the enemy 2-1, even down a man. The cheering at the end was fantastic.

Uber driving for new years was a success.  Hit a new record for money made driving in one night.  Won't say how much, but I averaged $30 an hour.
