Of course, Twin is neither man nor woman but an unholy eldritch abomination like every other Bay12er. The difference is they hide it better.

Managed to do 3 push ups.

Previously I couldn't do one. Apparently I've lost enough weight and gained enough upper body strength to actually go ahead with them. Between that and bench presses, I'll at least get more muscles. Not going to be massively muscled, but it's better than having arms that look like particularly fat sausages.

University's apparently doing wonders for my physique. Hooray!

Had a pretty good day today. Visited my grandma in the hospital, she's doing alright now. :)

I also picked up some boxes of teabags at an Asian grocery store, which was a new and entertaining experience for me. First time I've ever had Jasmine tea; it's magnificent.

I got MUNT working on my linux-hacked chromebook, and playing nice with DosBox.  Very nice.
(MUNT is an MT32 emulator that can appear as a MIDI device under Windows, Linux (ubuntu and debian-likes unless built from source), and OSX. It needs the PCM and Control roms from either a LAPC-1 or MT32, but does faithful emulation for old titles that know how to use these devices.)

I have it setting up an ALSA midi device a 128:0, and have Timidity++ giving modern wavetable as the primary midi device for system use. Dosbox is configured to talk directly to 128:0, so any general midi messages from dos games gets pumped to MUNT, and comes out faithfully rendered. A good many games had very nice soundtracks for MT32. For the ones that used GUS instead, dosbox already emulates one. Getting full (as in, truly faithful! even quirks!) MT32 emulation is very nice.

*happy*
