We went to the Prague zoo today. The place was enormous, last time a saw a zoo this awesome was in San Francisco. It also rained today. We in Israel get about two weeks of rain in February, and in the Czech Republic in rains in August, in the /summer/. Awesome.
Hehehe.. If you like summer rain, you should come visit the northern parts of Europe, up here it rains constantly. The only thing differing summer from autumn is the leaves changing colours, and the slightly stronger winds.
Oh well, at least we have mud to play around in.

So, where else are you going to after Prague?
And what is it, some kind of a school trip?
It's a family trip actually, my parents decided we all have to visit Prague, and bam! We're in Prague. We'll be back on Sunday though, nobody wants to miss the first day of school right?

Spontaneous parents? That sounds awesome. Can I have your childhood, please?

Oh, right, the happy thig: I've just watched "The Watchmen". I never thought that the inherently ridiculous superhero idea could be done so well, as in, not ridiculous at all.

Gooooooo reeeeead the comiiiiiic

It is so amazing.

The secondary characters are awesome.

Indeed, it's the best comic I've read in quite a while.

Israelis are all spontaneous, if you're planning a wedding make sure to send out invitations a few days before the actual ceremony and you're golden. Well... Maybe not /that/ spontaneous, but still, you get the picture.

YES.  I loved the bit with the psychologist's little backstory, and... oh god, the fridge scene, and comic books guy, and all the bad jokes.  Also Laurie being more ... jerkish really appealed to me.

Oh, troll or not, he's a terrible person. That doesn't make me laugh any less at the totally absurd unrealistically horrible things he said.

If a person's first thread and first post are in LA, they're probably not here for the DF.

EDIT:

Some good TG stories in there. Pity if they aren't true, but hey, this is the internet. Everything is true.

Posting in some random forum because it has a life advice section is absolutely silly. There are entire forums devoted just to that.

I never go to the Life Advice forum. I only posted there once, and that was about glasses or something.

You forget that most people that end up here but not here for DF started as lurkers for the DF section, or lurked for the sometimes more interesting topics. Remember he have a Mafia subfourm that is pretty much totally disconnected from the rest of the board.

Also yes, Life advice is probably totally worthless.

Hopefully not. I may post something there within the next few days (though I don't expect much actual help, but there are some people who give the benefit of doubt and try to actually help).
