Federal minimum wage in the US is 7.25 or something, and Idaho goes by the federal minimum wage. However, I rarely see even entry level jobs offering less than 9-10 because Washington has set their minimum wage to 9.50 or something for years and there's talk of it going up again.

Minimum wage in California is $10.50, and it'll be going up to $15 late next year. It's kinda nice :)

Minimum wage went up to $10/hr in NY. Was around $7.45/hr before that, I think. I can't remember, just that my previous job tried to pay me below that.

Minimum wage for my age range is £5:55, I think. I'm making 7:50 on hours not between 12 and 6, so all in all it's a good job - Tescos is known for paying staff well.

To be fair, he didn't say anything about drinking it.  Just be careful about alcohol poisoning; that method of...err, delivery is not only far more rapid, but also bypasses the most effective bodily defenses against ingesting too much poison.  It gets unpleasant for the other person who gets involved when they have to clean up the aftermath.
