I do tons of recreational shooting with a 12ga, doing clay pigeon. It's fun stuff.

I wish I could go shooting pistols, but with the laws in britain as they are... it's a real shame, really.

We just got about 6 inches of snow, and it hasn't quite stopped yet.

Snow here, too!  Bundled up in nice new used clothes from the holidays, and had a really nice walk.  We almost never got real snow in my hometown, just freezing rain and sleet.  Or the snow would melt on the ground and refreeze at night...

9F/-12C, but being bundled up is really comfortable (:
Found my shades, too.  The noon sun on the ice was so brutal I went right back inside to find them XD  It's still almost weird to have snow on the ground when it isn't literally snowing, today is very clear.

Today I had a conversation with a gentleman who goes to the karate dojo I go to about Skyrim. He's apparently having the expected trouble with getting SkyUI over to the Special Edition, and we chatted about that for a while.

I don't know his age, but I believe he's over 60. I didn't expect that topic out of him at all, and it was awesome to see that even someone as old as my grandfather can be as avid a gamer as some 20-somethings I know. Made me feel all giddy.

So my father brought over Dennis and his family for dinner tonight.

Dennis's two children are adorable!

We played a flash game (Fire Boy and Water Girl in the Crystal Temple) together and even though they weren't very good at it, we still had a lot of fun. I don't think I'd laughed or smiled as much in several months!
