I just found out via Solifuge that there are other people who know what Records of Lodoss War is.

Literally grew up watching it. Remember almost nothing of the actual plotline now, though.

I loved Lodoss! Shit was literally a D&D style Fantasy Pen & Paper Campaign turned into an Anime.

I binged on the whole series with my cousin and brother in a single night... we were staying with my weird Uncle for the Summer, and were basically completely unsupervised. In our case, that meant staying up until late morning playing Bomberman 64 and Smash Bros, eating pizza rolls, and binge-watching anime and sci-fi horror movies on VHS Tapes. We did Lodoss War one night, and Berserk another night, and then watched a bunch of silly horror films like Cube (aka "People trapped in a murderous Labyrinthine Sudocube Comprehensile").

Ah... good memories. :3

But that's not even what fluoride's supposed to do. Putting nano-silver in your mouth to replace fluoride is like chugging hand sanitizer to address a vitamin B deficiency, which is to say sick, wrong and uncomfortably similar to Listerine now that I think about it.

In holiday Non-Happies, I spent a huge amount on my brother's gift, which i was happy about (got him an Astro headset.) but didn't get quite as much cash influx as I expected.
Reason I asked for cash was because of an upcoming trip (also happy about!) to Fiji.
So I've had to tighten my pockets because it's apparently more expensive than Hawaii.

Been seeing steam sales breeze through like stardew valley and been a bit glum, but now Doom is 70% off and I'm just Uuugh.
Do I buy it and damn the consequences?

I just found out via Solifuge that there are other people who know what Records of Lodoss War is.

The only thing about Records of Lodoss War I remember of is a pretty good hack'n'slash RPG on the Dreamcast. I finished the main quest, but the two optional bosses(a dragon, and an exponentially stronger dragon) were impossible for my. The weaker of the two, I fought for a solid half-hour, doing over 12k hitpoints of damage(yours maxes out at a few thousand if I recall), and eventually dying because I ran out of healing potions. His HP bar showed only the slightest decrease.

Personal happy: Today is my first ever paid holiday! I'm getting paid and not actually working! This is awesome.

An ossum friend made personalized notes to send to those in her discord chat [because it's filled with people and stuff she's totally okay with], and my personalized note made me all .

It is beautifully written and very straightforward. And hit me as much as me watching Big Hero 6 with all the feelings of connection and all.

That and I got called by my silly/nice nickname. XD

So I had a job interview today. It seemed alright, I actually was able to answer questions with minimal stuttering. Fellow was unfortunately really difficult to "read" and I won't get a yes or no for a day or so, so its all up in the air.
