Prepping to host a Family Christmas Dealio!

Got much food and cleaning and decorating to do. But I GET TO COOK FOR PEOPLE which is fun times. Turkey, green bean cassarole, stuffed squash, sweet potatoes, maybe even a spiced raisin-mince pie!

Currently supplanting holiday music on the radio with I AM BECOME CHRISTMAS. It's pretty weird and groovy, and I like it.

Worked five minutes later than I should have at work.  As a consequence, I stopped at a traffic light on the way home and some...ah, in the absence of further information, let us term them an interesting fellow...pulled a hit and run with a pick-up truck through my driver's side door instead of that of the people behind me, who would have been stopped there had I left work on time.  Apart from a bit of a pain on the outside of my head and an ache on my left side, I came off pretty light, too, so there's that as well.  At this point, I'm hoping against hope that the car doesn't end up a constructive loss, and that perhaps also that we find and catch said interesting fellow.
