Actually 5 days without internet have been productive for learning gml, figured out, why movement and attacking scripts were not working( I accidently set object acceleration equal to its friction, heh , made enemy ship ai capable of attacking and found out how to make working damaging beam weapon.

I once had about a month without Internet and learned a good deal of programming from basically knowing about nothing about it, on a language that could be best described as "syntax torture", too.

So I've been playing Shadowrun: Hong Kong lately, and I'm really enjoying the way they wrote Gaichu's character. It's rare that you get a philosophically-inclined character that doesn't seem a bit... pretentious, or noticeably written by a person who was less given to this kind of thinking than the character's supposed to be.

I'm really happy with the writing in this game so far, actually. It's not PERCEPTION CRISIS - tier good, but it's very solid. Which was my best expectation.
