Um... nope! Pretty sure I was just binge-watching some really long, rather odd TV series on some streaming service or other. Or at least that's what an earlier chunk of dream was about, so I'm assuming the later part which I remember was connected, even if it had gone from a bizarre, animated fantasy adventure to what appeared to be a live-action sitcom with three main characters in the interim.

Of course, it could have simply been a separate dream. But it would have made for a pretty good show/series/film, I reckon.
...Does this mean I'm not dead? Dang. I'm expected to do a bunch of irritating, possibly strenuous stuff today. Would've been a good day for it. And then I could have continued that dream. *sigh*

On the flip-side of this, it's that day in October when I look death in the eye and say "Better luck next year, ya dummy!"

Gave myself permission to get some silly birthday presents for the first time in a while; a kerchief with the constellations on it, a silly winter hat with flaps and pointy cat ears (something I've wanted for longer than I'd care to admit), a new and very comfortable memory foam pillow, some gear for the bike I'm hoping to get next Spring, and some other fun/cute shit. Dad cooked a from-scratch butternut squash pie and left me with half of it; his cooking is amazing, as usual. I made lunch and dinner plans with other parts of the family later today, and am dragging my Mom and Step-Dad out to see a weird, cool little Coin-Operated Automata Museum that's near my house. Hoping to have an important conversation with them too. Couldn't see my friends them this weekend, but I made plans with them for the next one; hoping to sleep over, carve some pumpkins, play Spoopy Boardgames, watch some foreign horror films, and maaaybe make a pizza together.

Feeling generally glad and thankful to have good people in my life.

Well hey, good luck Soli! I hope your parents won't be boogers about it, but judging by what you're saying, there's actually a good chance of them being cool with it. Maybe confused, but confusion is merely one load of information away from understanding. :v

Also did i ever mention that i love being in folk high school? Because i do. Even if i had to pay it all by myself (parents are assisting me with half the cost), it'd be worth every penny. Money is fleeting, personal development is... Well, not forever, but possibly the rest of my life. B[

Returned to see my house still relatively in one piece (And got power/internet back a few hours ago). And it's also nice to know that I'm not penalized with any of the jobs/contracts I've got going for the time I've been unavailable due to the hurricane that nearly bull's eyed my house (thank goodness it veered JUST off-course enough to minimize potential damage).

What a week.
