Eternity is far too heavy a word to be throwing around like that.

I'm extrapolating (and exaggerating) based on 21 (almost 22) years of data. Outside of one outlier, that data shows a good indication of "zero".

But yeah this probably belongs in the sad thread.

'cos I've actually been talking to a dear friend of mine who went overseas. We were best friends beforehand, and well -absence made the heart fonder and all that.
But it's one of those doomed dreams because we know that were we to be in the same country again, whatever feelings we had for eachother would swiftly degrade.
So it's a series of long and sad conversations about 'what if' or 'should we have'. But it inevitably goes nowhere 'cos.

But I think I had a shot at getting the number of the girl who took my ticket at the movies!

That said, i am completely oblivious to most signals of romantic interest (barring the direct and very obvious ones such as "I WISH TO BE YOUR ROMANTIC PARTNER"), so i don't even know if anyone is or has been interested in me. I've only ever had one crush, which was promptly dispelled when she told me (very politely) that she rather sees me as a friend. Kind of relieving, really, because then i could move on.

also today i took a near-flawless dump and man am i totally okay with that
