Well, then you could just bring up the plainly obvious fact that Colonization was very clearly the best of them all. It's simply not fair to the newer entries.

I had a love/hate relationship with Civ3. On the one hand, great game with none of the bullshit in 4 and 5.

On the other hand, those fucking AI stacks. That, and there only being 1-2 sources of critical resources on giant maps, and resource nodes depleting in a process apparently designed to maximize player frustration. "Oh, you just spent the past 200 years conquering your way to this oil? This is your first turn with control over it? Lol it's depleted now."

Got to be quite challenging, but yes, it was enjoyable.

As for my present happy, San Jose are currently 5-0 up in a game 7.

Admittedly they still have 15+ minutes to completely eff it up, but they have a decent cushion.

Civ 5 is one of the most critically acclaimed games of all time with the expansions lol

That's quite lovely, but oddly, not all people have identical taste in games.  I'm aware this may come as a bit of a shock to some, but it is nonetheless the case that a person may indeed have an opinion that differs from that of critics or even the majority of other people.  To such a person who did not necessarily like Civ 5 where critics did, the fact that the person who designed Civ 5's expansions is lead designer for Civ 6 may not in fact be the selling point it is to them (or, speculating, you).

Of course, this is coming from someone who didn't quite get into Civ 5, either; it seems I've only put 158 hours into it, when I don't even know how many hundreds of hours I've poured into 4, and I've not really felt it was quite as enjoyable as 4 or even 3 (which was so impressive at "great ideas, poor implementation" that I frequently joked about it and the MOO series representing a "cursed 3" in sequels).  As such, I'm a bit ambivalent about Civ 6 as well, critical acclaim or no.

I'm exhausted and sore and it's so muggy but I'm really proud of myself right now.  I'm mostly staying clean and also standing up for myself and enjoying the outdoors.
And I was really worried I was neglecting someone special but then we hung out and I casually apologized like it wasn't a big deal and they were like "Oh lol no big deal".

I'm a lot more anxious (for now) but I'm also in better shape to actually handle problems so yeah!

Basically the story of an insane undead dreadnought conducting a 2000 year campaign of revenge and hate against the Combine Covenant Tau Pfhor Compact.  Reminds me a bit of Durandal, but stuck in the anger phase of rampancy.  SHODAN too.
