You're never going to touch the butt if you don't make it exceedingly clear that you want to. The direct approach is the only approach that works routinely. You leave no room for wishy-washy drama bullshit. You get a yes or a no, and you take it from there. Just say, "Hey, this is a thing. Is it a thing? Press Y or N to continue."

Would you appreciate it if someone hid their feelings from you because they were afraid of what you might say? If not, don't do it to them.

There's been a LOT of positive press and raving reviews. Game would have to be hand-delivered by the gods themselves to live up to 100% of it
Since I am fairly confident that no deities were involved in the creation of Undertale, I have to remain skeptical.

The soundtrack is nice, endings are very unusual and rewarding emotionally, I'd say. The gameplay of dodging bullet hell is not to my liking, on the other hand.

In the end, I hope you just won't regret time spent on playing this game.

I would say that the hype it got is well-justified.

From a certain point of view, the production values are pretty high, for a game with minimal number of workers working on the game (see backer lists; GigiDG; Temmie Chang, and Fox himself, etc.).

I won't be spoiling a lot or mentioning the endings though out of possible fear of spoiler mindsets.

So far I'm enjoying it. Combat system is odd, but workable. There's hints of interesting lore. I've chuckled at points. Goat-Mom seems to be a lovely lady so far (though I kinda wish she'd answer the phone).
