I'm still trying to figure out whether to buy Borderlands or Fallout 3... Help?

It's easier if you've played Diablo/Dungeon Siege (Borderlandslike) and/or any of the Elder Scrolls series (Falloutlike).

Borderlands is, in a way, about collecting neat guns; Fallout is about plot and quests and that jazz, to put it exaggeratedly simply. Also Borderlands has multiplayer, so there's that.

Only Morrowind. I think that story is a plus for Fallout, but Borderlands would be rahter nice to play online. How 'jump in and play' is it?

For that viciously bad pun, I'm gonna introduce a NPC named Vlynndar just so that I can kill him of in a cruel and unusual way.

My stereotype of Swedes is that they're blond, musically talented software pirates.
I am not amused.

(Yes, i am swedish. Half-finnish actually.)

I actually liked it more than the original Fallout games, but I still didn't like it very much.  It crashed so much I had to set an alarm to go off every five minutes so I'd remember to quicksave when it went off.

I have no clue about where my family came from, except up a single generation, it's all canadian(Well, lived here, and born here), and if you keep going back there is some irish and/or scottish somewhere in there. Probably the worst place in the world for knowing ancestry, since most/all of the people up the tree came here from elsewhere at some time or other(AFAIK)

Can't figure out whats making up the .3 gigs though, the games and media already on it is nowhere near that...
Probably system files.
I relized it might be leftovers from trying to get rid of some install data for a game that made it load faster. On the plus side going to see my brother and his girlfriend. There will be some kind of party (his and my dads friends to I think) then everyone but me will be going to a football game. Me, I'll be at his place on his 360 or computer.

My ancestry's almost entirely German, with a bit of Irish that I don't particularly care for, and dabs of French here and there.

There is a bit of a loading screen but it goes on relatively easily. Just don't do it on the PS3, else you get nightmarish loading times.

I think Borderlands story, as bad as it is, is actually BETTER than Fallout 3's.
