I did it. OH MY GOD I DID IT.
For the past...Month or two, I thought my battery was shot. So, today, I took it out and had a look. Got a...Q-tip? Those earcleaning things. I cleaned it up a little, slid it back in...Works fine. I can now go places without a cord again!

I have friends who talk about Christmas trips the the beach, which I find kinda strange - both because I used to within an hour or two of the geographic center of North America and because going outside during the winter with only a little bit of clothing on used to be a good way to get hypothermia and die.
