Finally managed to get Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones running in an emulator. I'll have to update my video driver to get it to work, because most of the text looks like mangled nonsense to me, but hey, I can play it now!

Sacred Stones was pretty great gba game. You could even continue in the same file after you finished it, unlike previous english FE.

I figured it looked pretty good and decided to go for it before I went for the apparently more difficult Blazing Sword (and maybe Sword of Seals if I can be bothered to find a fan translation.)
