I think it's free until mid-2017. I'll probably put it off until around then.
By then I might as well wait until Linux stops being pretentious and then switch to it.

I'm waiting a few months or so until the early adopters have discovered all the problems and come up with solution and M$ will have patched out the major bugs.

Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

Today was probably the best possible day I could have had without just calling in to work.  I've been cooking and helping out in the kitchen the whole time, which means minimal contact with customers, plenty of quick easy tasks and a lot of bullshitting and rude jokes with my friends.

I will make someone rig up a program that'll send out a mass-PM stating "See you later, space cowboy" and it will be glorious.
I'd prefer a gif of a space corgi hopping off into the distance, noping all the way. Is that a possible alternative?
From the SAD thread, of all places.  Granted, the discussion prior was a bit gloomy, but.  Well.  This.
SPESS CORGI.

I can't help but wonder, did you find all of that overflowing empathy and kindness just wasting away in an abandoned warehouse or something?  :P
Um...I dunno. I found it in others. I found it as I grew up. I found it in myself.
So I'm unsure where to find it as I see it in everyone. o_O

I take everything literally :'( [Sorry in advance]

I dunno what the heck is going on.
I've been feeling strange and sentimental all day, and now for the last few hours I've been disgustingly happy. What is going on? I think I've cracked. I'm off my rocker. I've gone batty. My cheese has slid well and truly off my cracker. I'm out of my tree. I think I've gone prematurely senile.
Everyone seems beautiful, including myself. Since I got home I've been pacing around, smiling, laughing to myself, and I'm really not sure why. This is completely sober, mind you. Something's gone wrong.

Your eloquence makes me chuckle. Your analogies are sublime. :P Or are these common idioms?

Or...you're happy. Euphoric?
Unsure. If you can type all that out in such pretexts, it doesn't seem anything severe. [IMO]

Yeah, if you're okay enough to make a witty post about it, you should be, in theory, fine.  But seriously, roll with the happy for a bit.  It looks like you might need it.  ;P

Still, perhaps he's right, maybe he has gone around the Billy Gully, had one to many shots at the good old Kangaroo, been pulled under by the creek, singing the songs with the croaking frogs, his mind burnt out as such a Butterfly might, popped a tube, seen the sun, spun round and round as the Fool speaks his tongue, he's seen the secrets, Opened his ears for the crescendo, he's broken the tracks, his song has been sung.
Perhaps his mind is now meer Dragonfly Dung.
