Kept reading Goblins even though I didn't like it. I now like it.

I'm almost 6 feet. You people are like hobbits to me.

Snerk. 'Almost'. :P

It's my birthday!

And we have a new puppy (Fynne, pure border collie) and she looks like a stoned badger and acts like a cat and is basically completely adorable. <3

Even though I had to get up a few times in the night to let her out. Still cute.

Hard science is like a sword, and soft science is like fear. You can use both to equally powerful results, but even if your opponent disbelieve your stabs, they will still die.

I got a strange item from a box I got from the TF2 gun mettle event.

The event itself cost $7 to get into.

The key cost $2.50.

The item is worth $~16.

Fuckin profit.

(i also sold a shotgun I got from it for $3.50)

The first episode of Dragon Ball Super is out in Japan and has been translated by subbers. It's actually really good. I'm curious to see what the dub will be like, although no Western release date has been mentioned as yet.

I am so freaking glad to hear that it's good! This has just made my day! If it's really good with Japanese voices, then I can expect it to be AWESOME with English voices! Oh man I really hope it doesn't take years for them to dub it.

Oh god, google claims they plan to have over a hundred episodes if they can.  How can keep up the escalation...  its like if Gurren Lagann had tried to make itself into a long running franchise.

You misspelled seance.  Are possessing Draignean?  Are you actually a ghost in the shell? You have to tell us if you are, that's the rule

I think of DBZ like ice cream. It's simple, but that doesn't mean it's not enjoyable. I do kinda wish they'd come up with more creative ways to beat the villains than "Find another way to go Super Saiyan", though.

The first fights against Raditz and Vegeta will always be my favorites in all of DBZ. The heroes actually had to strategize and come up with a plan, because there was no way they were going to beat those guys in a legit "I have more power than you" sort of way.

Yeah. With the corner that the series has been written into though, it's not likely we'll see much more of the strategy and "how can we beat this guy" stuff in Super. Hell, since the Buu saga eventually killed off the entire planet besides the principle fighters and some comic relief, it's likely that the first arc of Super will probably happen on an intergalactic scale or some bollocks.

the first arc of super AFAIK is "battle of gods"

and the second will be "resurrection of 'f'"

so that's how that's going

and believe it or not the way Toriyama's talked about
