Anyway, I'm fucking glad just to get out of the house and take a shower today. It's been a week. A filthy, sweaty, miserable week. The bed is nice now, but running water and electricity would be appreciated when possible.

My Aunt's breast cancer was operated on. Removed a lymph node just in case as well. No chaemo expected to be needed. Just radiotherapy left, and hopefully that will be that.

I know from experience that a family member with cancer can be a rough experience for both of you. Glad that it's a simple, small case this time!

Finally saw a doctor today and discovered that my cold was not actually a cold, but bronchitis.

Why is that a happy? Because now I've got some medicine that will actually treat the disease instead of simply masking the symptoms so I could struggle to function normally.
