That's not fair. It was an excellent movie until the guy from Elf showed up.

It was a good movie. There just seemed... a fairly obvious moral thing like "You don't know what you can do until you try!" message behind it. Which is annoying.

I liked the spaceship guy. I nearly shed a tear when he was allowed to build one.

Might be. I have a formal kilt, and it was hand-made, which kicked up the price a bit. Plus bells and whistles (sporran, sgian-dubh, kilt socks, flashes)  and an obscure tartan, but I don't think that particular part mattered to the people who made it.

But it's not exactly comfortable to wear, so I can't imagine why you'd want a casual one.

The theme song was nothing more than a parody of soulless, catchy pop music. It was awesome.

Also, that movie nearly made me cry. It's basically about how fan works are just as valid as the original, which is awesome. I've already ranted enough today about the concept of canon, so let me tl;dr.

Canon is a concept that is completely and utterly worthless in fiction, nothing but an excuse to complain about other peoples' works for no reason other than that they don't agree with other fiction. Fuck canon. <3 lego movie.
