I recently discovered that you can order siracha pizza from pizza hut instead of their... marina sauce.  The squicks are so worth it.

Also, I'm happy to be at home!  I'm home, not at my mom's place, and not at my dad's place.  I'm home (in my mess), and happy.
I'm also just a bit drunk...  But after spending two weeks on ""vacation"" with a parent, then dealing with the built up workload for almost a week, I really don't care.

First off, what the fuck is an ENERGY horchata.

And I know for a fact that normal Horchata is awesome so watch it there.

It's a kind manufactured by an energy drink company. They throw a bunch of caffeine, and also placebos, in with it. And then they can it. As if it were a soda or something, only it's mercifully uncarbonated. It's the canning that made me skeptical, but I'm compelled to try new things, regardless of their utility, and that worked out pretty well this time.

If you get a chance to try it from a better place, do so. It's one of my absolute favorite drinks honestly. That good when done right.

My family went on a ski trip, but I mostly sat in the lodge reading and playing with my little cousins when they came in... Also playing with them in the pool at night.
I'm kind of sore, but it was fun. Sometimes odd, but fun.

One of them ran up to me and hugged my chest, then said "You have a good heartbeat mommy" and laughed. Then she said I was a silly cousin for believing I was her mommy, so I told her I didn't believe her and she kissed my hand to apologize.

At first I wondered what horchata was, and what country english speakers stole it from. Then I checked. And, uh.

Dairy? It... doesn't look like most of the variations of it involve any dairy at all >_>

Also looks vaguely interesting. Apparently can be made from rice (among other things), so it might be worth trying to make some at home.

E: Though I'm now wondering what happens if you make it with pecan instead of almonds or whatev'. Almonds have to buy, pecans you pick up off ground. Well... I don't think right now, but later in the year.

apparently me and a friend bsing in a group chat helped one of my friends through a pretty rough patch. She's feeling a lot better now
