Spent all day playing around on a server with computercraft turtles in minecraft. Taught them to dig a binary tree house.

Huh, cool.
He did you get them to do that in the first place?

Altho my professor and I were close enough where he made it clear he wasnt willing to give up his 6 figure to achieve it.  We had fun, even if he does preach about a return to fuedalism with a twist :P

PS3 hooked up, GTA V installed and played. Online feels so much better, especially with the knowledge that I'll never have to pay for it.

Code to dig out a volume, code to dig out a room with that (room space + door), and code to dig out rooms recursively with that. The key for doing useful stuff is to ensure you know where your turtle starts and ends after every call. After digging out a room, it returns to an origin point for the room, allowing the functions outside that to navigate it to where it needs to be for subsequent rooms. After digging out a room and all rooms branching out from that, it returns to the place it started digging that room, popping it back out to the function for the parent room. Standard depth-first binary tree traversal.

Or more generally, I used the in-game Lua scripting built into the computercraft turtles.

Choose Your Own Adventure games are fun. I just finished one where my character basically became the father of all robots, creating a somewhat-utopian future where humans and synthetics peacefully co-exist. That'd be pretty cool if it actually happened.

Choose your own adventure games being roll to dodge or are there actual games like that?

Yes, there are actual games like that. Somewhat more limited of course but still nice.

Would you kindly name a few please?

The closest I've found are fable and they are ok and Bethesda games but they don't have much variety in endings

I picked up a few today using Steambux I got for Christmas:

Appointment with FEAR
Choice of Robots
The Heroes Rise trilogy

There's a couple others as well but I didn't buy them.

Yep yep.

Choice of Robots and Heroes Rise are very simple to play; almost entirely text with stats. Good amount of story possibilities though. Appointment with FEAR appears to be slightly more game-like, with graphics and combat systems. Probably not complicated combat systems, but vOv

Found out about a program that animates 2D drawings. Sure I can't draw for shit either manually or digitally and don't really need this for anything, but I'll be damned if I don't at least try to animate a firearm to have facial expressions.

Hard science is like a sword, and soft science is like fear. You can use both to equally powerful results, but even if your opponent disbelieve your stabs, they will still die.

It claims that you don't need to draw separate frames.
