Tests came back and, after the last surgery, my mum is cancer free! Let's hope it lasts longer this time (no radiation/cemo was required, a surface type cancer, not going in to details about type).

I just hold the door open for everyone... Being nice to fellow humans tends to be better than "well, I guess I'll be nice to you, but only because you're a girl".

Edit: Oh, wait! I came here with an actual post too. Less happy, more relieved, but they've confirmed the guy from yesterday was working alone. Lots of information for the police to gather over the coming days, but that, at least, is a relief. No city-wide manhunt.

Ah, I'm full of the happy today (compensating for yesterday). Lots of praise today for the CBC coverage of the events yesterday, and how american news can learn from it. I have nothing to do with our countries news (aside for paying for part of it via taxes) but it makes me kinda proud anyways. Yay patriotism?
