Obviously someone needs to write a script that automatically goes and changes your signature every 15 minutes.

Same here. Though if the avatars have a unified art style/are based around a certain character then I don't mind since they're so readily identifiable. LordSlowpoke's cast of avatars come to mind here.

And honestly people who change their avatars frequently can be just as annoying as rotating avatars, since you have to keep memorizing them everytime they change.

Put them in a sig rotator.
